This sitemap searcher only reads published sitemap files. It does not generate a sitemap from a URL or crawl the pages inside it.
How does the sitemap finder work?
Enter a domain or a direct sitemap URL. We read robots.txt and common sitemap locations, then follow sitemap index files to collect the URLs listed in their XML sitemaps.
Does this tool crawl the website?
No. It requests only robots.txt and sitemap files. It does not visit the pages listed in those sitemaps, so it cannot confirm whether they are live or indexable.
Can I export all found URLs?
Yes. Download CSV, Excel or a plain text list. Each CSV and Excel row includes the source sitemap and the last modified date when one is present.
Why might a sitemap be missing?
The website may not publish one at a common location, its robots.txt may not declare it, or access may be blocked. You can paste an exact sitemap URL to try it directly.
Where can I find a Yoast sitemap URL?

Can this tool generate or make a sitemap XML file?
No. This tool extracts URLs from existing sitemaps. To make a new sitemap XML file, use your website platform or a sitemap generator, then enter its URL here to check what it contains.
Is this a sitemap checker or website crawler?
It checks whether sitemap files can be read and counts the URLs they list. It does not crawl those pages or check their HTTP status. To audit the website itself, start a URLMatcher crawl.
